Bush came out with a statement against what Bennett said. Somehow the idea that any Republicans would sign your letter is probably too much to hope for. You have to do what you believe is the right thing. I've always thought Bill Bennett says the dumbest things. Maybe he should go back to gambling.

Congressman Conyers is right on target in refuting these baseless GOP "out of context" claims. Bennett said it's true that aborting every black baby would lower the crime rate. THEN he condemned aborting black babies and called it reprehensible, etc. Bennett's second statement was about abortion and nothing else.

Bennett's convoluted attempts to explain away his racism are lies. He defamed every African American and then he condemned everyone who is pro-choice.

Isn't Bill, in assuming that EVERYONE equates Black with criminal, and in continuing to make that assumption by pretending not to understand that he is being called on it and broadcasting that pretence on public air, Isn't Bill asking very politely for a ten times bigger fine? Isn't it clear which is the bigger event? The first instance was over before I looked back to the screen and I was not offended, I was disapointed. In the second instance I was not in the audience and made no effort to become informed yet I am informed of both the complete quote and the exlanation of it (Swift, A Modest Proposal) and in consequense am as offended as any of the little old ladies who were offended by Janet. This despite my thick skin, which is white.

In sum, what Bill did was, Excuse me what Bill is doing is 1/ Broadcasting the equasion of Black Skin with Jail Time. 2/ Broadcasting the message that We agree with him and refusing to be corrected and thereby insisting that We agree. 3/ Broadcasting so loud that I cannot tune him out, the implication being that most are unable to tune him out. This seems quite adequetly disturbing to warrent his being given a very stern lecture on eugenics but it is compounded by the fact that a man with his credentials really genuinly doesn't understand, obviously really genuinly doesn't want to understand.

I have been to FCC.gov but did not find there the proper pigeonhole to stick this kind of complaint in. If anyone can clarify, I would thank you.

I've missed a lot in just 2 days. I did read Bennett's shameful comments on Dem Underground and they bunched together all the racist comments from this Regime to justify their genocide of the people of NOLA and the press is STILL not reporting that the aid is STILL not getting to the people of the American Gulf Region.

I thought I read that Congress was looking into the $1 Billion raised by Red Cross which has not been spent to aid the people of NOLA or other hurricane victims in the American Gulf but can't find the reference now.

DU had a thread on the incredible corruption of Red Cross and the mayor of DeKalb told the Red Cross to get out because the were HINDERING THE RELIEF EFFORTS and on another site that Red Cross = FEMA. I hope there are current Congressional investigations into the billion raised specifically for the dying people in the Gulf.

On yet another site, a Red Cross volunteer said she would never wear a Red Cross vest again and other angry commentary from people who volunteered for Red Cross but are disgusted by their inaction or actively obstructing the aid to NOLA and the Gulf.

I try to write that ACORN seems like a good charity and the NAACP would be the best to make sure that your donations get to those who need help.

I sent them an email about this shameful remark and included some of the other remarks by Hastert that NOLA should not be rebuilt and the genocide of the lack of aid STILL and the fact that evacuees have been sent to far away states and Puerto Rico without their family members and against their will in the confusion and this has been reported by MSM Salt Lake Tribune and Denver Post and must continue to be reported in-depth.

"Psych Ops Warfare" an Illuminati Tool of the Occult...

Judith Miller has long been a propaganda mouthpiece for this cabal going back to the early 80's with Bush Sr. and all the players from the Nixon administration (the enemies within); Iran-Contra, BCCI, Poindexter, Oliver North, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Bolton, Wolfowitz, Saddam, Chalabi, etc. (the list is very long) but, each day their power grip diminishes and they no longer have control.

They used her. Everything she has ever written was provided her by the Pentagon, White House, and State Department. And those pieces not directly provided had to be reviewed before they could be printed. Including her book on Germ Warfare.

She has been embedded with the Office of Special Plans for quite some time and Fitzgerald is well aware of her 'mis-deeds' for this criminal cartel. Afterall, she blew his cover a while back on another federal investigation prividing a heads up to the infiltration before the federal raid; documents not seized directly hindered the probe.

However, one must now ask if she was doing all this of her own free will or if she was part of the MK-Ultra/Psych Ops under diplomatic cover. Was she a willing participant or was she similarly used as tool in Manchurian Candidate fashion?

In either case, I believe it refreshing to think that perhaps a bit of incarceration was able to break the spell and de-program her from the cult and mind-control by which they have used her so well to plaster the propaganda to the masses via the press pass.

They used her under the cover of the First Amendment of free speech and knew she would be bound by the principle of not revealing sources and she used this same tactic to stay alive. But, there are limits to the First Amendment especially when it pertains to a federal criminal investigation.

I submit that while everyone was thinking she was protecting her sources, in actuality she was protecting her very own life. Jail time did just that; protected her life --- she was safely protected from all that she knew in knowing full well she would be dealt a similar fate of Vince Foster, John O'Neill, Wellstone, and so many others.

Yes, the White House should be nervous about 'deprogramming' but she can no longer serve their agenda now that all that was hidden continues to be revealed :0) and in true MK-Ultra fashion she may not even be aware of what she has done in the past as a tool for them.

Please pardon me for this but, I was out to dinner earlier this evening and Mr. Bennett's comments emerged in table conversation.

One participant suggested thought was to reverse the tone and consider that if all white babies were aborted then we would see a reduction in corporate crime. Now, that would certainly have a direct impact on Wall Street, the Federal Reserve, and the World Bank.

Let, me just state for the record that I am a humanitarian active in the culture of life and do not advocate torture, the death penalty or abortion of any race, religion, culture, or sex. I AM not the one they must answer to.

Let me just say that I am absolutely right with you and applaud you absolutely for your work on this issue.

I believe solidly in your incredible strength to stand for the constitution, and for Howard Dean's incredible vision for the DNC.

The majority of america is right in the period of embracing the democratic libertarian world view: Which means PRESERVING the right to privacy.

Yes, I saw Willie Nelson on Real Time with Bill Maher recently and he talked at great length about Bio-Diesel, Vegetable Oil, Agriculture Crops/Farm Aid, etc.

There are numerous alternatives to what these barrons are doing, including space age technology, hybrids, hovercraft, hydrogen, clean energy, fusion, wind, solar, etc. but, they refuse to pursue them because they have profited so well from the destruction of the earth's resources and are on a collision course with all living things. They are the culture of death as we know.

This just off the AP --- Wake up call to Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming... the Oil Vampires are looking to suck it out of rock! Where's our scientists, environmentalists, meteorologists, and geologists -- isn't there a fault line near by and tetonic plates running through the Rockies?

PARACHUTE, Colo.(AP) The brush-covered landscape of buttes and desert just west of the Rockies, already dotted with oil and gas rigs, could be in store for another resource boom as the energy industry turns a fresh eye toward developing oil shale.

A reserve estimated at nearly 1 trillion barrels of oil buried deep in rock formations stretching from western Colorado into northeastern Utah and southwestern Wyoming may be a way to ease U.S. dependence on shrinking foreign oil supplies. The newly enacted energy bill was written to help open the way for research programs and commercial leasing of federal land containing oil shale.

Yet shale isn't a quick panacea to the nation's energy woes. This is oil that is locked up in rock, not deposits of liquid crude that are relatively easy to tap.

Companies have spent years researching how to melt oil out of rock, but it could be 2010 before any decide whether shale mining is commercially and environmentally feasible. It takes a large amount of water to recover the oil and the process can take months.

Many also worry about the effect a large-scale operation _ particularly coupled with robust natural gas, coal and oil production already under way _ would have on the environment, wildlife and the people who spent years recovering from the last shale bust in the early 1980s.

As a private attorney Chertoff successfully defended Dr. Magdy Elamir, financial supporter of the mosque where 1993 World Trade Center bomber the Blind Sheikh preached. Dr. Elamir's HMO was sued by the state of New Jersey to recoup $16.7 million in losses, at least $5.7 million of which was thought to have been funneled to fund terrorists.

Then as Senate Counsel he aided and abetted the Senate investigation cover-up of Clinton White House attorney Vince Foster's possible murder. Later, as an adviser to the CIA he made a deal with the lawyers of John Walker Lindh, the American Taliban, to gag him just as he was about to testify that he was tortured by his jailers.

This Michael is no archangel.

A deadly bacteria listed among bioterrorism agents was detected in the US capital last month during a mass protest against the Iraq war.

District of Columbia Health Director Doctor Gregg Pane told WTOP Radio late Saturday that biological agent monitors on the National Mall, an esplanade in downtown Washington, gave positive readings for a small amount of tularemia on September 24 and 25.

The sensors are operated by the Department of Homeland Security, but officials were not notified of the potential hazard until Friday, according to Pane.

He urged people who were at the Mall last weekend and who have been experiencing symptoms of pneumonia to immediately seek medical help, but added that there was no evidence that anyone had been affected by the bacteria.

Symptoms include sudden fever, headaches, diarrhea, joint pain, cough and progressive weakness.

But the disease can be fatal if it is not treated with the right antibiotics, officials said.

Bacteria casing tularemia was very infectious, with between 10 and 50 micro-organisms usually enough to bring down an adult.

"There is no known nexus to terror or criminal behavior. We believe this to be environmental," the paper quoted Russ Knocke, spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security, as saying.

But federal health officials remain on alert for outbreaks of the disease far away from Washington because of the numbers of visitors to the capital last weekend.

So why didn't the headline read: "Deadly Bacteria Detected in US Capital During First Lady's Visit"? At the end of the article it says the 2005 National Book Festival, attended by Laura Bush, was also at the Mall on the same day.

The WTOP website titles this "Small Amounts of Bacteria Found During Protests Last Weekend" (the URL is http://www.wtop.com/index.php?nid=25&sid=581709), even though it doesn't even mention the Book Festival. Here's an excerpt:

'D.C. officials were notified of the bacteria detection on Friday.

Mayor Tony Williams says he is fine with the fact that he wasn't immediately told about the Tularemia since there was no direct threat to people in the city.

"I don't want to know every little thing whenever it happens. I want to know if there's a need for a raised alert," Williams said.

There was a week-long delay in notifying D.C. officials because, according to the Centers for Disease Control, monitoring samples were sent to labs and tested before they could confirm the type of bacteria.'

Israelis won't testify in AIPAC trial

10/02/05 "Jerusalem Post" -- -- The three Israeli diplomats who were in touch with former AIPAC staffers now standing trial in Virginia are unwilling to cooperate with defense attorneys and do not intend to agree to come and testify in the case.

In a court hearing on September 19 at the US District Court in Alexandria, Virginia, Judge T.S. Ellis asked attorney Abbe Lowell, who is representing Steve Rosen, the former policy director of AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee), if he intends to summon any foreign nationals to testify in court. The term "foreign nationals" in this case refers to Israelis, who were mentioned in the indictment as having contacts with Rosen and with the second defendant, Keith Weissman, a former Iran specialist at AIPAC.

Lowell told Judge Ellis that he has been in touch with attorneys for the Israelis and that his impression is that it will be difficult to get them to testify.

"They are not going to make this very easy," Lowell told the court.

The indictment, accusing Rosen and Weissman of conspiring to communicate classified information, mentioned three "foreign officials" that received information from the two former AIPAC employees as well as from the third defendant in the case, Pentagon analyst Larry Franklin. Though the they were not named in the legal documents, Israeli and US sources confirmed that two of the Israelis involved in the case are Naor Gilon, who was the political officer in the Israeli embassy in Washington, and Rafi Barak, who served as the Deputy Chief of Mission. US sources said the third Israeli is presumed to be a representative of the military intelligence in Washington, but his identity was not confirmed by other sources.

All three Israelis are no longer in Washington and all have diplomatic immunity, which prevents them from being subpoenaed by either side in the case.
